Well….

Hey guys….it’s Liz. So, I bet you all are wondering what’s been going on and why this blog is so dead….well, it’s because of a lot of things. I won’t get into details, but life has just been an absolute roller coaster of emotions and confusion. Like, I just don’t even know what’s happening anymore. School, work, my mental health, fatigue from everything going on in the world, etc have seriously been bananas crazy, I’ll say that. And I’ll be honest and say I’ve fallen out of JoJo and Ray is probably gonna stay away from it entirely. (But I won’t get into that because that’s her personal stuff).

Anyway, what does this mean for the blog?….Well, I don’t know. I honestly don’t know. If I’m being honest, I have no clue. I am thinking about possibly revamping it next year. Maybe a fresh new start. Tell Amy’s story from the beginning, because I still care about this little munchkin Crusader and I want to continue to talk about her. There’s just much to explore with her that I feel hasn’t been done yet.

So….yeah. I’m not trying to make this a pitty-party, but I’m just trying to explain where my head is at, I guess. Hope you understand.

Amy walked around in the familiar area hoping to spot her old friend Niu. She hadn’t seen him in who-knows how long and she wondered how he was. She was a little taller now since the last time she saw him and she wondered if he would remember her. “Niu?” She falls out as she looks for her friend. “Niu?”

Niu pops his head out of a tree at the sound of his name. He sniffs at Amy, checking her scent. His eyes light up in recognition. He knows her, remembers her, so he climbs down from the tree to greet her. With a tackle-hug.

Amy suddenly felt herself be tackled from behind and she rolls down a bit until she lands on her side. She looks at the tackle-hugger and smiles when she sees it’s Niu. “Niu!” Amy says and hugs the young man.

When she hugs back, Niu begins purring lightly. He lifts her and spins her around with all his baby dhampir strength. He's in a cuddly mood today, and she'll just have to suffer his affection. Battle Cry manifests behind her, joining in on the hug.

Amy giggles as she’s spun around. As she’s spun, Blinky watches from the sidelines with her arms crossed and watching the whole thing unfold. She rolls her eyes but Amy seems like she is doing okay. “I missed you too, Niu!” Amy tells her friend.

Once he stops spinning her, he gently sets her down, not letting go quite yet. He nuzzles in for a proper snuggle, purring louder. He clearly has no plans of letting his friend leave anytime soon. Not until he gets his fill of affection.

Amy giggles and continues to hug back. She really missed her friend. “Oh man, Niu, you wouldn’t believe what I’ve been through,” she says to her friend. “I hope you’ve been doing okay.”

Amy heads out of the hotel as the Sun is setting. She goes up to a water fountain as the street lamps come on and pulls out a coin. She looks around, closes her eyes, and flips the coin into the water. As it settles, the little girl props herself on the fountain’s edge and looks at the rippling water.

The pillar notices the girl making a wish, but at the same time he can smell the scent of the crusaders all over her, so it would be best to not provoke her. Despite these things he just decides to sit back and watch.

The little girl sighs and stays there for a minute before she turns and notices the fellow not too far away. She wasn’t sure what to make of him. “.....Um, hi,” she greets and slightly waves to him, still sitting on the fountain.

Darius sees that the girl noticed him and waves, only to be kind. “Resume whatever it was you were doing girl.” He said calmly.

“Uh, okay,” Amy says, unsure of what to make of all this. She looks down to the fountain as the ripples fade completely. After they do, she looks back over to Darius. I wonder who he is, She thinks to herself.

The pillar looks back at the girl and pulls his hair back, revealing a horn and leaving only three bangs down on the left side of his face.

Amy slightly recognizes the horn and her eyes widen. “....Holy cow,” she mutters under her breath.

He realizes that the girl finally noticed the horn. “What’s wrong? Did something scare you or did you just realize what I am?” He asked while he took his hand off his hair.

“....You’re a pillarman, aren’t you?” She asks, looking at him with suprise. She wasn’t sure what else to think of it. Amy debated whether or not to start running or something.”

“Yes.” He replied, seeing the worried look on her face. “Relax. I have no intention on hurting you.” He was telling the truth, he had no intention of hurting her at all. In his eyes, he could care less.

“....I mean, that wasn’t what I was thinking about though,” Amy admits, swinging her legs down to hang over the side of the fountain. Now she full faces Darius. “I just thought all the pillarmen were gone.”

“Yet here I am.” There was a silence between the two. Darius didn’t expect the girl to entirely know of what he was, but from the info that she knew, it was enough. “So, what was it that you were doing moments before I “interrupted” you?”

Amy turned her head in confusion at Darius, surprised he didn’t know about a wishing well. “I was just making a wish at the wishing well,” Amy explained to Darius, standing up and reaching into her pocket. She pulled out another coin she had. “You take a coin, say a wish to yourself, and then flip it into the fountain to try and make it come true.”

The pillar closes his eyes and nods. “I see.” He opens his eyes and gets up. “Then allow me to make a wish for myself.”

“Sure. I got a bunch of coins from Mr. Joestar, so you can have one if you want,” she says and goes over to hand him a coin. “But the thing is, you can’t tell anyone what your wish if. If you do, it won’t come true.”

Darius take the coin and closes his eyes. ‘I wish... to be a respected leader like my father, but contain the wisdom and kindness of my beloved.’ He though before he dropped the coin into the water.

As the water ripples, Amy looks between it and Darius, not sure what else to talk about. She didn’t think he was a bad person, but some thing about him just Mande her on edge. (Maybe it was because he was a pillarman).
